Position Overview
Support capital projects in the energy and infrastructure industry as part of an established Project Controls team.
Work alongside experienced Project Controls professionals and Project Managers on cost tracking, budget monitoring, progress reporting, forecasting, and project performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with cost management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting; track expenditures, incurred costs, and budget variances.
- Maintain cost data, time-phased budgets, and estimates to complete; review contractor invoices against project records.
- Support Work Breakdown Structures; monitor schedules, milestones, contractor progress, and project forecasts.
- Prepare cost reports, performance dashboards, and status updates; support change management, risk assessments, and project controls procedures.
- Assist with procurement requisitions and commitment tracking for project materials and services.
- Gather and analyze data with project, engineering, procurement, construction, and accounting teams; support senior project controls staff.
- Assist with project closeout activities and documentation.
Qualifications
- Degree or technical college diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 0–5 years of experience in project controls, cost analysis, project accounting, or related project support.
- Basic understanding of budgeting, cost tracking, forecasting, and schedule monitoring; strong Excel skills and ability to work with financial and project data.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills; able to collaborate and follow project controls procedures.
- Capital construction exposure in energy, utilities, infrastructure, or industrial construction is preferred.
- WBS, EVM, and progress measurement familiarity, and SAP or other project cost system experience, are pluses.
Pay
- Pay rate is $40.54 per hour.
Schedule
- Hybrid schedule: work from home Wednesdays and Fridays; onsite Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
