Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced telecom leader with a proven track record of 10+ years in the UAE telecom industry and international markets.
The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end setup, licensing, funding, and execution of Vayu Telecom operations.
This is a founding leadership role, directly working with promoters and investors to build a telecom business from the ground up.
1. Telecom Business Setup & Execution
- Lead complete telecom company formation in UAE
- Handle regulatory approvals, licensing, and compliance (TRA / TDRA)
- Establish telecom infrastructure, vendor partnerships, and network rollout
- Develop MVNO / ISP / telecom service frameworks
1. Financial Structuring & Bank Funding
- Structure and secure maximum possible bank financing (up to 100%)
- Strong experience with UAE banking system, project finance, and government-backed funding
- Prepare bank-ready business models, feasibility studies, and financial projections
1. Strategic Leadership
- Define 10years telecom growth roadmap
- Identify opportunities in:
- Mobile services
• Broadband / Fiber
- Digital telecom platforms
- Build partnerships with global telecom operators
1. Global Expansion
- Plan expansion into:
- Asia
- Africa
- USA
- UK
- Develop international telecom alliances and roaming agreements
1. Team Building & Operations
- Build and lead high-performance telecom teams
- Oversee operations, sales, and technical deployment
- Drive revenue growth and market penetration
Key Requirements
- Minimum 10+ years experience in telecom industry (UAE + global exposure mandatory)
- Proven experience in setting up telecom or MVNO businesses
- Strong network with:
- UAE telecom regulators (TDRA)
- Telecom vendors & operators
- Banking and financial institutions
- Demonstrated ability to secure large-scale funding / bank loans in UAE
- Expertise in end-to-end execution (concept to launch)
Preferred Profile
- Previously worked with telecom leaders like:
- Etisalat
- du
- Global telecom firms or MVNO operators
- Experience in government liaison and regulatory approvals
- MBA / Engineering / Telecom specialization preferred
Languages Required
- English (Mandatory)
- Hindi (Preferred)
• Arabic (Highly Preferred)
- Urdu (Preferred)
