About the Role

- Confer with superiors on unusual matters
- Lead project wide system audits, as directed by a more senior Quality Assurance Specialist or Program Manager
- Write quality plans, procedures and audit checklists
- Verify quality standards and test procedures for design and product evaluation
- Provide quality assurance support to ensure products are acquired and installed in accordance with customer and company quality requirements
- Ensure sampling plans, quality standards and quality control instructions are utilized in assessing quality levels of projects and processes
- Document evaluation, testing and correction
- Provide recommendations concerning disposition of defective materials and maintain continuous awareness of quality problems
- Compile and write training material and conduct training sessions on quality control activities

- Broad knowledge of quality principles, practices, and procedures
- Ability to complete assignments that are broad in nature, requiring originality and ingenuity
- May provide technical guidance to lower level engineers, technicians and inspectors

- Under general supervision, possesses and applies a broad knowledge of principles, practices and procedures to the completion of difficult assignments.
