Role overview
Experienced Project Architect / Site Architect responsible for connecting design concepts, engineering coordination, and on-site execution.
Own site supervision, vendor management, technical detailing, fit-out and MEP integration, and compliance for entertainment and play-space projects.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee site execution, interior fit-outs, structural and MEP coordination, and finishes against approved drawings and specifications.
- Review and approve shop drawings, material samples, standard details, and architectural intent drawings.
- Resolve site design conflicts, RFIs, and technical discrepancies across designers, contractors, and specialist vendors.
- Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, ELV/MEP suppliers, and fabricators to maintain workflow and milestones.
- Coordinate authority, facility, and mall/building approvals and ensure safety, health, and building-code compliance.
- Keep site logs, inspect progress, prepare daily/weekly reports, and track snag lists through handover.
Requirements and qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering.
- 3 to 6+ years as a Site Architect or Project Architect; retail, commercial interiors, fit-out, entertainment, or hospitality projects in the UAE are ideal.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and 3D visualization tools.
- Understanding of architectural details, MEP/ELV integration, civil fit-outs, and material specifications.
- Familiarity with UAE building codes, civil defense standards, and authority approval processes.
- Strong on-site problem-solving and decision-making; excellent communication and negotiation for vendor and site-team management.
- Attention to detail, safety standards, and project timelines.
