The role is a Project Accountant focused on construction project accounts.
Core duties and responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and receivable for assigned projects.
- Review, validate, and process supplier invoices in line with contractual terms and purchase orders.
- Monitor payment schedules for timely disbursements and compliance with project budgets.
- Track project cash inflows and outflows against budgeted requirements.
- Prepare rolling cash-flow forecasts to anticipate funding needs.
- Identify potential cash-flow shortfalls and recommend timely corrective actions.
- Collaborate with procurement and project managers to support financial accuracy and integrity.
- Compile, organize, and document source information for accounting entries.
- Maintain accurate records of project expenditures and commitments.
Requirements
- Five years of accounting experience is required.
