This part-time remote Project Engineer / Senior Engineer role supports technical projects for operational and infrastructure needs.
The work includes planning, coordination, monitoring, requirements analysis, technical specifications, budgeting, scheduling, and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor technical projects.
- Analyze requirements, prepare specifications, and contribute to budgets and schedules.
- Ensure safety and regulatory compliance; review and validate engineering designs or technical solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, track progress, and report to leadership.
- Identify risks and mitigation measures, and recommend improvements to systems and processes.
Qualifications
- Experience in project engineering or senior engineering roles and ability to manage multiple technical projects.
- Strong planning, scheduling, and resource coordination, including project management tools and methodologies.
- Ability to analyze requirements, review designs, interpret documentation, and propose practical, safe, cost-effective solutions.
- Comfort with remote collaboration, clear communication, virtual meetings, and accurate reporting.
- Relevant regulatory, safety, and public-sector or defense environment knowledge is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in civil, mechanical, electrical, systems, or related engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- Independent judgment and confidentiality in sensitive operational contexts.
- French proficiency and working English proficiency are advantageous.
- Experience with risk assessment, quality assurance, and continuous improvement in technical or infrastructure projects.
