Role overview

Project delivery responsibilities

• Review project requirements, prepare technical documentation, and coordinate engineering activities.
• Monitor schedules; review drawings and specifications; coordinate resources and materials.
• Track project progress, identify technical issues, and support timely resolution of project challenges.
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders and monitor project deliverables.
• Support engineering solution implementation, testing and commissioning, and compliance with relevant standards and procedures.
• Senior-level responsibilities may include technical guidance, engineering work review, project planning and risk management support, and process and project improvements.

Education and technical qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical field.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, project planning, technical documentation, and project execution.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, technical reports, and project documentation.
• Familiarity with project scheduling, resource planning, procurement coordination, cost monitoring, and risk management.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies, quality standards, safety requirements, and engineering practices.

Tools and capabilities

• Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, Primavera, or similar platforms are advantageous.
• Strong analytical, technical, organizational, and problem-solving skills; able to coordinate multiple activities, priorities, and stakeholders.
• Good communication and negotiation skills for working with engineers, contractors, suppliers, and clients.
• Strong attention to detail when monitoring deliverables, schedules, and technical requirements.
• For senior responsibilities, technical coordination, leadership, decision-making, and mentoring capabilities.
• Able to identify project risks, evaluate technical solutions, and support corrective actions; proactive focus on quality, safety, efficiency, delivery, and continuous improvement.
