Program and community
Lincoln Square Neighborhood Center is a multigenerational Goddard Riverside program serving the Lincoln Square community, with a focus on Amsterdam Houses and Amsterdam Addition residents.
LSNC Aging Services supports more than 800 active members with meals, wellness, education, arts, and social services.
LSNC NORC serves residents aged 60 and older in the Amsterdam Houses and Amsterdam Addition NYCHA development.
NORC services include case management, benefits assistance, advocacy, health promotion, wellness screenings, health education, and social and cultural activities.
Position purpose
The NORC Program Manager provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for the LSNC Naturally Occurring Retirement Community Supportive Services Program.
The role supports older adults in aging safely and independently at home and fosters community engagement.
The manager partners strategically with the LSNC West 65th Street Older Adult Center Director to coordinate services and strengthen the continuum of care.
Responsibilities
- Plan, implement, and supervise social services, outreach, health and wellness programming, community engagement, and partnerships.
- Oversee staff and consultants, program operations, budgets, activities, and special events.
- Ensure compliance with agency policies and funding requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams, healthcare providers, and community partners.
- Coordinate programming and outreach with the Older Adult Center Director and support efficient use of resources.
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, 35 hours per week, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Late hours from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. once a month.
- Occasional weekend cooling center administration may be required during summer on a rotation schedule.
Salary
- Salary range is $70,000 to $75,000; the description does not state a pay cadence.
