About The Role

The Programme Manager will play a critical role in driving the successful delivery and governance of strategic initiatives across GTN Middle East.

The role has end-to-end accountability for complex, cross-functional programmes, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with the firm's strategic, commercial, and regulatory objectives.

A key responsibility of this role is the implementation, operation, and ongoing oversight of the New Product Approval (NPA) process, ensuring new products are assessed, governed, and delivered in line with internal controls, regulatory requirements, and executive expectations.

This role suits a senior programme professional with strong judgement, structured thinking, and the confidence to operate with autonomy while engaging and collaborating closely with all levels of stakeholders, including executive leadership.

Programme & Project Leadership

  • Own and manage programmes and projects from initiation, execution to closure, with full accountability for scope, timelines, and outcomes.
  • Translate strategic and commercial objectives into clear, executable programme plans with defined milestones, dependencies, and success metrics.
  • Oversee multiple workstreams concurrently, ensuring prioritisation and alignment across teams.

New Product Approval (Npa) Governance

  • Lead the implementation and ongoing management of the New Product Approval (NPA) process across the organisation.
  • Act as the central point of coordination for new product initiatives, ensuring appropriate stakeholder input, approvals, and documentation are completed.
  • Ensure new products progress through governance stages in a controlled, transparent, and timely manner.
  • Provide visibility to senior management on NPA pipeline status, risks, and decision points.

Stakeholder & Executive Engagement

  • Facilitate senior-level workshops, working sessions, and steering discussions to drive alignment and decision-making.
  • Proactively manage senior stakeholders across Product, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Finance, and Sales.
  • Prepare high-quality executive-level materials including programme updates, dashboards, decision papers, and presentations for the CEO and leadership team.

Risk, Delivery & Change Management

  • Identify delivery risks, interdependencies, and constraints early, implementing mitigation plans proactively.
  • Monitor programme performance using appropriate frameworks, tools, and dashboards.
  • Support change management activities, including stakeholder engagement, communications, and training where required, to ensure adoption and sustainability.

Other Strategic Initiatives

  • Support on driving other strategic initiatives as required.

Requirements

  • 10+ years' experience in management consulting (Big 4 preferred) or equivalent programme leadership roles, with exposure to large-scale transformation initiatives.
  • Proven experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder programmes with senior executive visibility.
  • Strong experience within Capital Markets (Banking, Trading, Brokerage, Fintech, etc.) and knowledge of trading products.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience producing C-suite-level deliverables.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in fast-paced, evolving environments.
  • Proficiency with project and programme management tools; strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum) desirable but not mandatory.
