Position overview
Manage the day-to-day responsibilities of the Milford Prevention Coalition (MPC).
Work with coalition members, community stakeholders, school systems, and the prevention team to implement and monitor MPC strategies, activities, and action plans.
Duties and responsibilities
- Oversee MPC's day-to-day operation and collaborate with management staff on budget monitoring and strategy implementation.
- Support sustainability activities, including fundraising and grant writing; monitor achievement of goals and objectives.
- Attend required meetings and trainings, and act as liaison to committees.
- Collect data, compile reports, and complete administrative work supporting prevention strategies and activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Experience in substance abuse and mental health prevention services; knowledge and experience in prevention, behavioral health, and substance abuse.
- Good communication and documentation skills, and computer literacy.
- Valid driver's license and consistent access to reliable transportation.
Salary and benefits
- Salary is $55,000–$60,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
- Benefits include medical and dental plans, employer contribution to a 403(b), employer-paid life insurance, vacation, personal and sick days, winter holiday break days, and paid holidays.
