Role overview

Material planning and earned value

• Coordinate material requirements with subsystem Control Account Managers and program teams.
• Develop integrated Bills of Material, validate requirements, and support material and production planning for purchase requisitions.
• Maintain material cost and schedule forecasts and support Earned Value Management from initial planning through execution.
• Develop baseline plans, material work and planning packages, material categories, and earned measurement techniques.
• Integrate material requirements into program integrated Master Schedules and report status, variances, and metrics.

Program support and compliance

• Coordinate with engineering, supply chain, MRP, manufacturing, and operations to report material availability against integration schedules.
• Implement internal and customer budget changes and contract changes.
• Provide process training and support internal and external EVMS surveillance.
• Support material management, accounting, and government property processes through subject-matter expertise, training, and oversight.
• Reconcile data across program and functional teams and recommend corrective actions.
• Support audits, reviews, fact-finding, and negotiations; report on contract parameters and government cost-control guidelines.
• Apply knowledge of DCMA data-driven EVMS compliance processes and current policy.
