Program Cost Control Analyst - Level 3

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Provide financial support and analysis to program, functional, cost account, and business managers.
• Prepare contract budgets and schedules; support funding profiles, sales outlook, cash forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Monitor contract costs and schedules under validated cost schedule control systems.
• Perform earned value tasks, including WBS development, budget baselines, cost risk assessment, visibility reports, and estimates to complete.
• Report on compliance with contract parameters and government cost-control guidelines; maintain expenditure records, prepare projections, and request additional government funding.

Basic qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of professional experience, or master’s degree with 3 years.
• Active qualifying U.S. Government Top Secret, Top Secret/SCI, or SCI access at application; one listed pathway requires willingness and ability to obtain SCI access.
• Experience with Earned Value Management and financial systems, including cost performance reporting and analysis.
• Strong PC skills, including Excel pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and conditional formatting.

Preferred qualifications

• Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related degree preferred.
• Cobra, Cognos, or SAP experience preferred.

Schedule

• 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off.

Salary

• Annual salary range is $89,900 to $134,900; offers may depend on role scope and candidate qualifications.
