Program Cost Control Analyst - Level 3

As a Program Cost Control Analyst – Level 3 located in Colorado Springs, CO, you’ll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one. This position will be based out of Schriever SFB, is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work.

Our Program Cost Control Analyst – Level 3 for the Space Sector will interface with the program managers, functional management, and cost account managers (CAMs) to provide financial and administrative support and analysis to meet program requirements. Candidates will gain valuable experience and knowledge with Earned Value and performance measurement baseline concepts and be able to apply them to multiple contracts for control accounts within an engineering Integrated Product Team (IPT).

This position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.

This position is contingent upon capturing program award(s) as well as obtaining and maintaining associated business and/or customer funding prior to start date.

Your Role and Impact:

Set up cost control system, monitor and control costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system

Support audits and reviews requested by programs, customers, and company management, fact-finding and negotiation support

Perform analysis and prepare reports to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines

Perform Earned Value Metric (EVM) tasks including Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development, budget baseline, cost risk analysis/ assessment and visibility reports, development and analysis of estimates to complete
