Program Cost Control Analyst - Level 2

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Coordinate operational business-rhythm activities with Program Cost Analysts, Scheduling, CAMs, Manufacturing, and Global Supply Chain.
• Perform earned value work, including labor headcount actuals versus plan and performance measurement baseline management.
• Prepare change requests and maintain quantified backup data for percent complete and budgeted cost of work performed.
• Create visibility reports; analyze and document estimates at completion.
• Use S/4 ERP views, visibility dashboards, and PACE Software for analysis.
• Support Integrated Product Team meetings and reviews.

Basic qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 2 or more years of relevant experience, or master’s degree plus 1 or more years; 4 additional years of experience may substitute for a degree.
• Experience with accounting, financial analysis, or reporting; Microsoft Office experience, especially Excel.
• Professional and effective communication with program teams, stakeholders, and customers.
• Active Top Secret clearance and ability to obtain SCI clearance.

Preferred qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Business Administration; defense industry experience.
• Experience with EVM/EVMS and EIA 748 guidelines, program cost control, or S/4 ERP GPD.
• Experience with MES, MRP, or systems such as Deltek COBRA or similar, Microsoft Project, S/4 ERP, Analysis Office, and PACE.
• Experience in procurement, logistics, distribution, supply chain management, or manufacturing.

Workplace and travel

• Position is located at the Redondo Beach, California facility.
• Travel is listed as 10% of the time; no relocation assistance is available.

Compensation and clearance

• Primary salary range is $75,800–$113,800 per year.
• Top Secret clearance is required to start; SCI clearance eligibility is also required.
