- Participate in the full software development lifecycle.
- Work in a command-line terminal environment, often without GUIs.
- Perform basic system configuration and administration tasks.
- Continuously learn and iterate on new technologies and projects.

- Manage risks responsibly.
Preferences
- Prior experience in any computer-related domain (homelab, robotics, CAD , game development, citizen science, etc.).
- Familiarity with scientific research processes.
