Are you a confident communicator and enjoy building and developing relationships with students, academics, and organisations?

Are you passionate about improving the student experience and supporting opportunities for students to develop their skills?

If this is appealing, you should apply to the Professional Liaison Network (PLN). We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised individual who wants to make a difference to the student experience in the Business School, within the Faculty of Arts, Social Sciences and Law. You will be part of a team that develops real-world experiences for students so they can apply their disciplines outside the classroom, and as a result, understand the impact they can make with their degree. This enables students to gain practical experiences, build the skills they need to thrive after graduation, and gain insight into different career paths, to see which is the best fit for them. Activities for this role will include in-curriculum applied learning, such as overseeing and developing industry projects and challenge-led business briefs

What will you be doing?

The role will have sole responsibility for planning, organising and delivering a subset of activity for the Business School, and working collaboratively and flexibly with other team members support the collective efforts across the Faculty of Arts, Law and Social Sciences. This will involve taking responsibility for managing student projects and working collaboratively with industry partners for the Business School Postgraduate Taught programmes (from charities and small businesses to large government and corporate organisations), ensuring active engagement for all.

You should apply if
