Job Responsibilities & Duties

  • Maintain a clean work area.
  • Comply with all safety rules.
  • Unload and store raw material.
  • Issue Lot Numbers for incoming DLK and perform required testing and record keeping.
  • Prepare and feed raw material into the production process.
  • Monitor raw material quality and blending.
  • Store finished goods.
  • Pull pending orders for shipment.
  • Load outbound shipments.
  • Support packaging area.
  • Sweep up scrap paper in Pre-Grind area and push piles onto conveyor.
  • Drive forklifts to unload raw material and load outbound shipments of finished goods.
  • Ensure outbound loads are correct materials and Lots.
  • Prepare raw material for consumption; Inspect and stage paper bales, cut and remove banding/packaging by hand.
  • Recycle material; lift, open and load 40-50 pounds bags or shovel pellets onto conveyor.
  • Maintain a constant flow of raw material to the Impact Grinder and Bale Conveyor for production.
  • Packaging of finished product; lifting and stacking of 40-50 pound bags.
  • Palletizing of finished material.
  • Warehouse finished pallets, ensuring correct labeling and packaging material is used.
  • Assist Shift Lead in direction work flow on production floor.
  • Other Duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma.
  • Close attention to detail.
  • Good verbal and written communications with co-workers, supervisors and truck drivers.
