Production Technician II
Role Overview
The Production Technician II is responsible to independently construct and test automated laboratory equipment to LCG Biosearch Technologies specifications and customer expectations for function, quality, and reliability.
This position will work autonomously and within varying production, service, and engineering teams.
The operational attributes of this role include instrument support in the areas of assembly, adhering to and creating labor standards, quality, testing, and creating process improvements.
The Production Technician II must embody the attitude and willingness to work effectively on teams with people from various backgrounds and cultures.
This position requires an individual who can give and receive constructive feedback in the effort towards continuous learning.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or higher education related to manufacturing
- A minimum of 3 years of experience is required in manufacturing or industrial production. Experience in automated manufacturing or test environments is preferred. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and process improvement techniques is also needed.
- Basic knowledge of standard mechanical and electrical tooling
- Use of electrical meter
- Use of power tools and pneumatic tools
- Knowledge of measuring and calibration equipment
- 2-year degree in a relevant field
- Any licenses or certifications related to mechanical-electrical manufacturing

- The customary salary range for this position is:
- Minimum pay rate: $23.00 USD per hour
- Maximum pay rate: $34.00 USD per hour
- The salary range provided covers the minimum and maximum amounts projected for this role. The typical hiring range is from the minimum to the midpoint, depending on the candidate’s background. The base salary will be influenced by factors like experience, skills, and location.
