Responsibilities
- Assemble boxes, insert bags and apply appropriate labels specific to product being packaged
- Assemble Gaylords, insert bags, and move products to appropriate location in the warehouse
- Opens and dumps product into hopper and returns carton to production line.
- Ensure cartons and bags are closed properly before moving to carton sealer.
- Keep work area clean and organized.
- Follow all safety procedures.
- Observes safety and security procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly.
- Complies with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Food Safety and HACCP Pre-requisite Programs related to activities performed for this position.
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- 3 - 6 months’ experience in a manufacturing, production or warehouse environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a frequently
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
