Production Supervisor - Press Room - Weekend Shift

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide immediate supervision to a group of employees, assigning tasks and checking work frequently. 30% Monitor daily operations, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and on time. 25% Develop and manage schedules and manpower requirements for the prepress area. 15% Implement procedures to improve efficiency and quality in the prepress area. 10 Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements. 10% Conduct performance appraisals and provide feedback to team members. 5% Assist in managing the prepress department budget and make budgetary recommendations. 5% Qualifications & Requirements Required Education, Experience, Certification/Licensure High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in a press or related production environment. Preferred Education, Experience, Certification/Licensure Some college coursework. Experience in manufacturing management or clean room manufacturing is a plus. Working Conditions Must be able to perform the essential job duties. Work may be performed in an office, warehouse and/or manufacturing environment. Requires the ability to perform the following activities for the majority of the day: stand for extended periods of time, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or climb. In addition, requires the ability to lift and/or push up to 50 pounds. May be exposed to noise and be required to wear hearing protection for the duration of the shift.
