Production Supervisor

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Review and interpret shop drawings, production drawings, and project specifications.
• Plan, organize, and supervise daily production activities in the carpentry workshop.
• Ensure production is carried out according to approved drawings and quality requirements.
• Monitor project progress and production timelines to ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with the design, project, and site teams regarding production requirements.
• Prepare production schedules and allocate manpower efficiently.
• Identify material requirements and coordinate with the purchasing department for timely procurement.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure the availability of required materials.
• Ensure efficient utilization of machinery, equipment, and manpower.
• Conduct quality inspections during and after production.
• Resolve production issues and implement corrective actions when required.
• Maintain production records, progress reports, and material consumption reports.
• Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and workshop regulations.
• Continuously improve production processes to increase productivity and reduce waste.

Requirements

• Experience in carpentry, joinery, furniture manufacturing, or fit-out production.
• Ability to read and understand technical and shop drawings.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Knowledge of production planning and project scheduling.
• Familiarity with material procurement and inventory management.
• Good leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in UAE carpentry, joinery, or fit-out industries.
