Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three years of production leadership experience and/or three years of military leadership experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to mediate conflict, perform thorough investigations, and set and communicate goals and expectations to large production teams in a diverse and multi-cultural environment. Experience with leadership in unionized environment preferred.
  • Strong computer proficiency including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; ERP/MRP experience preferred. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with multiple variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Strong problem solving, facilitation, presentation, and communication skills (verbal and written). Experience with Lean Manufacturing and other Continuous Improvement techniques; Lean and/or Six Sigma certification preferred. Regular attendance on company premises is required.
