Overview

About the Role

1. Preventive Maintenance

• Ensure regular preventive maintenance of all equipment and machinery to minimize downtime and enhance operational efficiency.
• Identify and address potential issues proactively to prevent equipment failures.

2. Planning and Execution

• Develop and execute a comprehensive plan to prepare the plant before the start of each production shift.
• Coordinate with the Head of Department (HOD) to ensure smooth operations and address any concerns promptly.

3. Maintenance Scheduling

• Create and maintain a schedule for routine maintenance of all equipment.
• Ensure compliance with the maintenance schedule to avoid production delays.

4. Spare Parts Management

• Monitor and maintain an inventory of appropriate spare parts for equipment and machinery.
• Ensure the timely availability of parts to minimize disruptions during production.

5. Staff Supervision

• Supervise and manage production staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and productivity goals.
• Provide guidance, training, and support to team members to enhance their performance.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma/ITI in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in production supervision or a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of preventive maintenance and production planning.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with production management software is a plus.
