Role overview

Production and team responsibilities

• Supervise carpentry, metal fabrication, acrylic work, painting, signage production, and assembly.
• Plan production around deadlines and installation schedules; review drawings, specifications, and approved designs before fabrication.
• Allocate work to carpenters, fabricators, painters, signage technicians, and installation teams; monitor progress and timely completion.
• Manage materials, machinery, tools, and manpower; coordinate with project managers, designers, procurement, and management.
• Identify material needs, prepare material lists, and coordinate procurement to prevent delays.
• Supervise exhibition stands, kiosks, display units, counters, signage, and custom structures.
• Check finish quality, dimensions, structural stability, and workmanship; troubleshoot issues and provide practical solutions.
• Coordinate loading, transportation, installation, dismantling, and workshop logistics.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and organization; reduce waste, rework, and unnecessary costs.
• Report production status, manpower use, and project progress to management.

Required qualifications and experience

• At least 3–5 years in exhibition stand fabrication, signage production, kiosk manufacturing, or advertising production.
• Previous workshop production team supervision experience is essential.
• Practical knowledge of carpentry, MDF, plywood, laminates, acrylic, metal fabrication, painting, and finishing.
• Understand exhibition stand construction, kiosk fabrication, retail displays, and signage installation.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, dimensions, and fabrication details.
• Manage multiple production projects simultaneously; demonstrate leadership, coordination, problem-solving, communication, and organization.
• Work under pressure and meet tight production and installation deadlines; be familiar with workshop machinery, tools, and production techniques.

Preferred qualifications

• Direct hands-on experience building exhibition stands, manufacturing custom kiosks, and performing advertising fabrication is particularly sought over general manufacturing or construction supervision.
• Knowledge of UAE exhibition venues, installation procedures, and site requirements is an advantage.
• A UAE driving licence is an added advantage.
• Candidate should independently manage workshop production, guide fabrication teams, identify technical issues, and ensure timely completion with minimal supervision.

Pay

• AED 2,100–4,000 per month.
