As the Production Scheduler at Jackson's Food Company, the role involves taking the Production Plan created by the Production Planner and creating a production schedule for the Operations team to produce.

The focus is on creating a schedule to allow the Operations team to run as efficiently as possible.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : The following statements reflect the general details necessary to describe the major functions of this position and are not intended to be a detailed description of all the work/functions that may be required.

Individual will work a varied schedule based on client needs.

• Work closely with the production planner to schedule production orders to meet demand.
• Collaborate with the E-commerce team to assess inventory needs and incorporate them into the production schedule.
• Review and approve customer requests for changes in order quantity and delivery dates, as forwarded by the customer service department.
• Ensure adherence to production schedules by regularly reporting schedule versus actual output to the team.
• Develop comprehensive production schedules in response to sales orders, forecasts, and demand dynamics.
• Ensure adherence to deadlines through a proactive approach, guaranteeing the fulfillment of supply chain needs.
• Work collaboratively with the Operations team to assess scheduling needs, maximizing throughput during shifts.
• Monitor hour by hour production progress to adjust schedules when needed.

• Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school;
• Six months to one-year related experience and/or training;
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven aptitude in Microsoft Suite; experience with ERP systems required.
