About the company
Kumait is a Saudi-based manufacturer of precast concrete elements for energy and infrastructure applications.
Production management
- Manage daily, weekly, and monthly production activities and schedules, meeting quantity, quality, cost, and delivery targets.
- Review shop drawings and technical production details, including reinforcement, embedded items, lifting points, openings, and dimensions.
- Coordinate with Engineering, QA/QC, Planning, Procurement, Maintenance, HSE, Logistics, and Project/Site teams.
- Lead production supervisors, foremen, technicians, operators, and workers; optimize manpower and resources.
- Control material consumption, waste, rework, and production costs.
Manufacturing, quality, and improvement
- Oversee mold preparation, casting, vibration, curing, demolding, finishing, storage, and handling.
- Monitor product quality, resolve production issues, and implement corrective actions for defects and non-conformities.
- Coordinate maintenance of molds, cranes, batching plants, casting equipment, and other production machinery.
- Ensure HSE compliance, prepare production reports, monitor KPIs, identify bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- At least 7 years of relevant experience in precast concrete manufacturing, concrete production, or related activities.
- At least 3–5 years of production management or supervision experience.
- Strong knowledge of prestressed spun concrete poles, precast manufacturing, reinforced concrete, production planning, and factory operations.
- Understanding of shop drawings, reinforcement detailing, molds/formwork, embedded items, concrete technology, costing, and QA/QC.
- Leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Preferred qualifications
- Previous Saudi Arabia or GCC experience is preferred.
- AutoCAD and advanced MS Excel proficiency are preferred.
- ERP or production management systems and Primavera P6 or MS Project experience are an advantage.
