Production Management

  • Develop and execute production plans based on sales forecasts, inventory levels, and operational capacity
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (sales, stores, QA) to ensure smooth production scheduling
  • Optimize production efficiency through manpower allocation and line balancing
  • Monitor daily production performance and implement corrective actions to meet targets
  • Plan and allocate manpower across production lines based on workload and priority
  • Optimize workforce productivity through shift planning and task allocation
  • Identify skill gaps and coordinate training to improve operational efficiency

Team Leadership & Development

  • Plan and allocate manpower across production lines based on production requirements and priorities
  • Monitor team performance and ensure adherence to production targets, quality standards, and SOPs
  • Optimize workforce productivity through effective shift planning and task allocation
  • Coordinate training and on-the-job guidance to improve operator efficiency and reduce errors
  • Maintain discipline and ensure compliance with company policies, safety, and hygiene standards
  • Act as the primary point of coordination between production teams and other departments

Procurement & Supply Chain

· Manage end-to-end procurement cycle including supplier sourcing, sample evaluation, price negotiation, and order finalization

· Lead supplier coordination for both local and import procurement, ensuring timely availability of raw and packing materials

· Evaluate and approve samples in coordination with QA and production before commercial purchase

· Monitor market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supplier performance to optimize cost and quality

· Forecast raw material requirements based on production plans and sales demand to avoid stockouts or overstocking

· Manage inbound logistics for imports including coordination with suppliers, freight forwarders, and clearance timelines

Inventory & Material Planning

· Monitor and control inventory levels of raw materials and packaging to ensure uninterrupted production

· Coordinate with sales and stores teams to align production with demand forecasts

· Implement material planning strategies for repeat orders and fast-moving SKUs

· Reduce wastage and optimize stock turnover through effective planning and coordination

Financial Coordination

· Coordinate with finance team and management for supplier payments and credit management

· Track outstanding payables and maintain regular communication with vendors to ensure business continuity

· Support cash flow planning by aligning procurement activities with financial constraints

· Assist management in budgeting and cost control through procurement and production insights

Safety & Security

  • Ensure compliance with all food safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards (HACCP, ISO 22000, Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, etc.)
  • Lead factory readiness for inspections and audits, ensuring minimal non-conformities and timely closures
  • Implement and monitor health, safety, and hygiene practices across production and storage areas
  • Identify potential safety risks and take preventive actions to avoid incidents and operational disruptions
  • Coordinate with QA and maintenance teams to maintain safe working conditions and product integrity
  • Drive awareness and discipline among staff for adherence to safety and hygiene protocols

Stakeholder Relations

  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with suppliers
  • Communicate department projects and updates with senior management
  • Coordinate with other departments for smooth operations

Education

Bachelor's in Engineering, Production Management, or related field

Experience

4-6 years in production management, preferably in food/FMCG
