About This Role
Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Production Manager to lead our in-house fabrication operations. This is a dual role — you will manage production floor workers directly while also coordinating closely with project and design teams to ensure flawless delivery. You will own the full production cycle: from BOQ preparation and cost estimation through to quality sign-off and handover.
Requirements
Experience & Background
- 5–10 years of experience in interior fabrication, fit-out, or events production in the UAE or GCC
- Proven hands-on experience managing carpentry, metal work, painting, and/or printing operations
- Strong track record of managing production timelines and delivering projects on schedule
- Previous experience in retail fit-outs or office interiors is highly preferred
Skills & Competencies
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, shop drawings, and design specifications
- Proficiency in preparing BOQs, cost estimates, and production schedules
- Strong leadership — able to manage, motivate, and hold a team accountable
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a hands-on, solution-oriented approach
- Good command of English (spoken and written); Hindi or Urdu is a strong advantage
- Familiarity with UAE labour practices and production floor safety standards

Key Responsibilities
Production & Operations Management
- Oversee all in-house fabrication activities including carpentry, metal work, painting, and printing
- Plan and schedule production workflow to ensure all projects are completed on time and within budget
- Directly supervise, guide, and coordinate production floor workers and craftsmen
- Monitor daily progress and proactively resolve bottlenecks or delays
- Ensure production area is maintained to high standards of safety and organisation
Quality Control
- Enforce strict quality standards across all fabrication disciplines
- Conduct in-process and final inspections before project handover
- Identify root causes of defects and implement corrective measures
- Maintain consistency and quality finish across all project types
Cost Control & BOQ
- Prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and production cost sheets for each project
- Estimate material, labour, and overhead costs in line with project scope
- Monitor actual vs. budgeted costs and flag variances proactively
- Source and coordinate with material suppliers to optimise procurement costs
- Identify opportunities to reduce waste and improve production efficiency
Cross-functional Coordination
- Liaise with project managers, designers, and sales teams to align on scope, timelines, and specifications
- Communicate production status updates clearly and regularly to management
- Coordinate material procurement schedules with the procurement team
- Participate in project kick-off meetings and pre-production planning
Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,500.00 per month
