PRODUCTION FLOOR WORKING SUPERVISOR

Role and workshop

Key responsibilities

• Plan daily production schedules for timely order completion and dispatch.
• Supervise laser and press brake operators, helpers, and delivery drivers.
• Read drawings and ensure accurate nesting, cutting, and bending to specifications.
• Inspect parts for dimensional accuracy, surface defects, and bending defects.
• Manage stainless steel grades, thicknesses, finishes, remnants, and scrap.
• Preserve protective films and ensure proper handling, cleaning, and packaging.
• Monitor machinery, arrange maintenance, and report breakdowns and production delays.
• Enforce safety, PPE, and housekeeping standards; maintain production and material records.
• Train operators and helpers and operate laser or press brake machinery when needed.

Required qualifications and experience

• At least 5 years of sheet metal fabrication experience, including stainless steel, and 2 years supervising workshop-floor production teams.
• Hands-on fiber laser experience covering nesting, cut quality, assist gas, lens maintenance, and nozzle care; practical press brake bending knowledge.
• Read engineering drawings and work within specified tolerances.
• Know SS304 and SS316 grades and 2B, hairline, and mirror finishes.
• Use vernier calipers, angle gauges, and measuring tapes.
• Good spoken English is required; Hindi, Urdu, or Arabic is preferred.
• UAE workshop experience and immediate or short-notice availability are preferred.

Additional advantages and work style

• CAD/CAM, laser nesting, workshop setup, machinery commissioning, stainless steel brushing or polishing, surface-defect prevention, ERP or inventory systems, and welding or general fabrication experience are advantageous.
