Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Production Engineer with strong experience in HVAC systems and heat exchanger manufacturing to drive shop-floor efficiency, quality, and output improvement.

This role offers an opportunity to own end-to-end production lines and work on process improvements beyond repetitive manufacturing tasks.

Production & Operations

Manage manufacturing of heat exchangers, cooling coils, AHUs, or HVAC components
Ensure achievement of daily / weekly production targets
Drive line balancing and cycle time optimization

Process Improvement

Implement Lean Manufacturing (5S, Kaizen, waste reduction)
Identify and resolve production bottlenecks
Lead initiatives to improve productivity and reduce scrap

Quality & Troubleshooting

Ensure adherence to quality standards and testing protocols
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for defects and failures
Reduce rejection rates and rework

Shop Floor Management

Handle and supervise operators and technicians (15–50 workforce)
Manage shift planning, manpower allocation, and discipline
Coordinate with design, QA, and procurement teams

Education

B.E / B.Tech – Mechanical / Production / Industrial

Must-Have Experience

3–5 years in HVAC / Heat Exchanger manufacturing
Hands-on experience in:

• Brazing, Tube Expansion, Coil Assembly

HVAC systems like AHU / FCU / Condensers / Evaporator

Technical Skills

Strong understanding of production processes & drawings
Experience in Lean tools (5S, Kaizen, continuous improvement)
Knowledge of ERP systems
Proven track record of:
Productivity improvement (% increase)
Cost reduction / scrap reduction
Exposure to automation or process upgrades
Candidates currently working in:
HVAC manufacturing companies
Heat exchanger / coil manufacturing firms
Air handling unit (AHU) production setups
