Job Purpose
Lead and manage the entire production process to ensure high-quality output, cost efficiency, safety, and timely delivery, while driving continuous improvement across all operations.
Production Planning & Scheduling
- Develop and implement effective production schedules.
- Optimize resource utilization and coordinate with supply chain, quality, and maintenance teams.
Operations Management
- Supervise daily production activities and minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate reports and ensure smooth operations.
Quality & Compliance
- Enforce adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and environmental regulations.
People Management
- Lead, train, and motivate production teams.
- Manage shift planning, attendance, and team discipline.
Continuous Improvement
- Drive Lean Manufacturing, 5S implementation, and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Enhance productivity and operational efficiency.
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong leadership & decision-making skills
Hands-on expertise in production processes, machinery, and quality systems
Problem-solving and analytical mindset
ERP & production planning proficiency
Excellent communication and team management skills
& Experience
- Qualification:
- Bachelors / Diploma in Mechanical, Automotive, or Industrial Engineering (or related field)
- Experience:
- 3 10 years in manufacturing/production (minimum 3 years in a managerial role)
- Industry Preference:
- HVAC, Automotive, Electronics, or related manufacturing sectors
Performance Metrics
- Achievement of production targets
- Reduction in downtime & rejections
- Compliance with quality & safety standards
Improvement in OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)
On-time delivery performance
