Purpose
Turn production plans into consistent, compliant output from injection moulding through preparation of fittings for wire laying.
Responsibilities
- Prepare daily and weekly production plans and monitor output against them.
- Organize injection moulding machines and moulds, and set operating parameters with the technical team.
- Check first-off samples for dimensions, weight, and appearance.
- Coordinate parts through moulding, cooling, inspection, and wire-laying stages.
- Monitor PE100 resin use, scrap, and rework; reduce waste and downtime.
- Train operators in safe operation, mould changes, and work instructions.
- Record production, downtime, scrap, and problem causes; report to management.
- Work with Quality and Maintenance to address the causes of defects.
Required experience and capabilities
- Hands-on plastic injection moulding experience with fittings is required; HDPE fittings or water-network products are preferred.
- Practical knowledge of injection moulding machines, moulds, mould changes, and common injection defects is required.
- Experience organizing small or medium production lines and willingness to work hands-on are required.
- Ability to establish procedures, solve problems, train employees, and coordinate functions in a new factory is required.
- Ability to work with suppliers and technicians and read technical manuals and drawings is required.
- Electrofusion product or preparation-stage experience is advantageous; direct wire-laying management is not essential.
- Technical English is advantageous; HDPE water-network fittings or electrofusion experience is strongly preferred.
Not suitable
Experience limited to operating pipe extrusion lines is not suitable.
Administrative-only experience without the ability to follow up on machines, parts, and production problems on the factory floor is not suitable.
