Product Proposition Manager

Role purpose

What you will do

• Maintain the product roadmap and develop product proposals and business cases for senior stakeholders and governance committees.
• Manage product reviews, fair value assessments, enhancements and supporting documentation.
• Use market insight, competitor analysis and data to shape product design, positioning and customer outcomes.
• Work across leadership, operations, distribution, finance, legal and compliance to secure buy-in and deliver change.
• Support broker and client conversations, RFP responses, pitch presentations and industry forums.
• Contribute to profitable growth, retention, improved customer journeys, process digitisation and regulatory product governance.

Knowledge and skills

• Strong demonstrable experience in health and protection insurance, including workplace benefits.
• Sound technical understanding of health and protection arrangements.
• Experience designing, implementing and presenting customer-focused product initiatives.
• Strong commercial judgement, experience supporting SMEs and large employers, and use of data to inform decisions.
• Problem-solving, change-driving and delivery skills, with strong relationship-building and influencing abilities.
• Confidence working with senior and C-suite stakeholders.
• A relevant degree or professional qualification, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with multinational pooled, captive or retained-risk arrangements is an advantage.

Working arrangement

• The role is hybrid, based in Dorking one day a week and London two days a week.
