Programme leadership and product ownership
- Own integration roadmaps, plans, budgets, and RAID logs; run status meetings and send the CEO weekly written updates.
- Escalate decisions early with options, costs, and recommendations, and chair go/no-go reviews for launches.
- Own the payment-channel and partner-integration backlog, write user stories and acceptance criteria, and accept delivered work.
- Define SEPA and Swift routing rules for currencies, limits, and fees, and own ISO 20022 message mapping with engineering.
Payments and partner delivery
- Own Swift Alliance Cloud connectivity, including configuration, certificates, users, and roles; manage upgrades and testing with Swift and its service partner.
- Expand Swift services to new currencies, message types, and use cases.
- Coordinate core-banking payment booking, nostro accounts, inbound credits, reconciliation, five-plus-year archiving, and exception handling.
- Onboard banking-as-a-service and fintech partners, coordinate API integration and service levels, align KYC, screening, and compliance responsibilities, and run joint testing and launches.
- Grow and maintain correspondent relationships through onboarding, due diligence, RMA exchange, register upkeep, and annual review.
Compliance and operations
- Support Swift CSP annual security attestation, the DORA third-party register, AML procedures, regulator notifications, and audit-ready documentation.
- Lead post-launch hypercare, hand over runbooks and support routines to operations, and own the yearly Swift calendar, standards release, and certificate renewals.
Required experience
- At least 5 years in payments product or implementation roles at a bank, payment institution, EMI, or payments vendor.
- Hands-on delivery of at least one Swift connectivity project from ordering to live traffic using Alliance Cloud, Alliance Access, Lite2, or a service bureau.
- Working knowledge of ISO 20022 payment and reporting messages and MT/MX coexistence for CBPR+.
- Experience with correspondent banking, nostro accounts, RMA, cross-border payments, and reconciliation.
- Familiarity with SEPA schemes and EU payment regulations including PSD2, Instant Payments Regulation, Funds Transfer Regulation, and DORA.
- Agile product ownership experience with backlogs, user stories, acceptance criteria, APIs, and webhooks.
- Experience managing multiple external vendors and partners to a shared timeline.
- Clear written and spoken English and confidence reporting to a CEO and meeting regulator evidence standards.
Nice to have
- Central-bank payment systems or direct participation in SEPA schemes.
- Exposure to Swift CSP attestation, modern core-banking platforms and APIs, public cloud, API-first payment platforms, or banking-as-a-service and embedded-finance partnerships.
- Lithuanian language.
