Company

Emburse provides AI-powered expense intelligence products intended to modernize financial operations, improve visibility, and optimize enterprise spending.

Role Overview

The Product Manager shapes software products and analytics experiences, translating user needs into requirements, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes.

The role focuses on trustworthy, explainable, and actionable analytics, including dashboards, reporting, and data integrations.

Collaboration across global time zones with stakeholders in North America, Europe, and elsewhere is required.

What You Will Do

  • Own features from concept through launch with engineering and design teams.
  • Contribute to business cases, product vision, strategy, and roadmap planning.
  • Create product specifications, persona-based user stories, and UAT scripts for Procurement, Finance, Travel Managers, and CSMs.
  • Prioritize backlogs and bugs, enforce release acceptance, and test and iterate features through launch.
  • Partner with Product Marketing and Customer Success on feature positioning, adoption, and support.
  • Coordinate regression testing, data contracts, monitoring, and risk-based test coverage with Engineering.
  • Specify metrics and data guardrails, including variance bands, freshness SLAs, and null or duplicate thresholds.
  • Track post-launch success through product analytics and user feedback.
  • Communicate project status, milestones, and timelines to stakeholders.
  • Publish customer-grade metric documentation, data lineage and caveats, and release notes.
  • Refine features after release to improve adoption and platform value.

What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 6–10 years in product, analytics, or data-quality roles and a record of shipping customer-facing analytics and reporting products.
  • Deep familiarity with corporate travel and T&E workflows, including GDS, OBT, TMC flows, GL mapping, rate and tax handling, and PNR nuances.
  • Experience defining and enforcing a Definition of Done and holding releases when data guardrails fail.
  • Working SQL and BI literacy to validate dashboards against source systems; advanced Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Product requirements, acceptance criteria, high-signal issue reports, and buyer-centric UAT scripting are preferred.
  • Customer empathy, strong problem framing, and sound prioritization are expected.
  • Excellent communication and ability to influence Engineering, CSM, Technical Writing, executives, and buyers.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively while managing multiple complex priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Understanding of modern productivity tools and cross-functional team processes.

Hiring Note

  • The employer states that it cannot offer sponsorship now or in the future.

Why Emburse

  • The employer describes flexible work, competitive pay, and an inclusive, collaborative environment.
  • The company highlights opportunities to work across finance, technology, and AI on business finance products.
