Baselane is seeking a Product Manager to join its growing Product team and help design and deliver valuable features for customers.
The role requires product expertise in fintech and product acumen within B2C SaaS or financial technology environments.
The position offers autonomy and ownership while using data and product analytics tools to guide decisions.
Workplace
- This is a hybrid role requiring at least two days per week in the downtown Toronto office.
Responsibilities
- Help define product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
- Execute the product roadmap with design and engineering teams.
- Champion user needs and prioritize high-impact development.
- Create and validate solution hypotheses through A/B tests.
- Use user feedback and data to identify behavior patterns, friction, and improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with marketing, design, product, and engineering on feature development.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Engineering, computer science, or a similar quantitative or technical background.
- A genuine interest in fintech and ability to discuss financial products.
- Hands-on fluency with AI tools for prototyping and efficient work.
- At least two years of product management experience at a technology startup, ideally in B2C fintech.
- Strategic and analytical thinking about business, product, and technical challenges.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong organization and a record of delivering projects on time.
- Experience in user research and behavioral analytics using Amplitude, Mixpanel, or Google Analytics.
- Experience setting up feature experiments and measuring their impact.
- Curiosity about customer pain points, product usage, barriers to value, and user needs.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Direct experience working in the US fintech landscape.
- Experience bringing a product from concept to launch, including go-to-market strategy, packaging, pricing, and enablement.
- Experience managing feature development for a mobile app.
- SQL proficiency for data querying and analysis.
