Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager with expertise in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital learning platforms.

The Product Manager will be responsible for defining product strategy, managing the product roadmap, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of a scalable and engaging learning ecosystem.

The ideal candidate should possess a strong blend of technical understanding and business acumen, enabling them to effectively translate business objectives into product requirements and technology solutions.

The role requires strategic thinking, stakeholder management, leadership capabilities, reporting expertise, and the ability to drive product initiatives from concept to execution.

Product Strategy and Road Map Management

  • Define and execute the product vision, roadmap, and feature strategy.
  • Align product initiatives with business goals and customer needs.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation, platform enhancement, and business growth.
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and product benchmarking.
  • Develop short-term and long-term product strategies.

Product Development and Execution

  • Gather business requirements and convert them into detailed Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Manage the complete product lifecycle from ideation to launch and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers, developers, QA engineers, content teams, and stakeholders.
  • Prioritize product features, enhancements, and bug fixes based on business impact and user needs.
  • Lead sprint planning, backlog management, and release cycles using Agile methodologies.
  • Ensure timely delivery of product milestones and project objectives.
  • Drive continuous product improvements through data analysis and user feedback.

LMS Platform Management

  • Oversee implementation and optimization of LMS functionalities, including:
  • Course Management
  • Learning Paths

• Assessments & Quizzes

  • Certifications
  • Progress Tracking
  • Gamification Features
  • User Management

• Reporting & Analytics

Improve learner engagement, course completion rates, and overall user experience.

Ensure platform scalability, usability, and operational efficiency.

Team Leadership and Project Management

  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Manage project timelines, priorities, deliverables, and dependencies.
  • Monitor team performance and ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Facilitate collaboration between business, technology, and operational teams.
  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure successful execution of product initiatives within agreed timelines and budgets.

Business and Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Translate business requirements into actionable product and technology solutions.
  • Participate in strategic discussions related to product growth, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
  • Work closely with leadership teams to define business priorities and product goals.
  • Evaluate business impact, ROI, and feasibility of new product initiatives.
  • Support decision-making through data-driven insights and recommendations.

Reporting & Stakeholder Management

  • Prepare and present weekly and monthly project status reports.
  • Track project timelines, deliverables, dependencies, and risks.
  • Maintain product documentation and project progress reports.
  • Present roadmap updates, sprint outcomes, and feature releases to stakeholders.
  • Monitor project health and resource allocation.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on platform analytics and user feedback.
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings and ensure effective communication across teams.
  • Develop executive-level reports highlighting progress, challenges, and strategic recommendations.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3–5+ years of Product Management experience.
  • Proven experience managing LMS, EdTech, SaaS, or digital platform products.
  • Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and product development methodologies.
  • Excellent understanding of software development lifecycles and technology platforms.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand commercial objectives and customer needs.
  • Ability to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Experience working with cross-functional product and technology teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Jira, ClickUp, Trello, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with LMS platforms such as Moodle, LearnDash, TalentLMS, Thinkific, Kajabi, or similar solutions.
  • Understanding of learner engagement, gamification, and online education best practices.
  • Experience in managing analytics, reporting frameworks, and data-driven product improvements.
  • Familiarity with APIs, integrations, system architecture, and digital product ecosystems.
  • Experience working closely with development teams and technology stakeholders.
