Overview
- Umami Bioworks is looking for an inquisitive, innovative, and independent Product Manager to join our R&D team in Abu Dhabi / Dubai, UAE.
- This is a full-time role for a driven individual who thrives at the intersection of science, business, and technology.
- Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with business strategy and scientific breakthroughs
- Lead interdisciplinary teams at the intersection of science, business, regulatory affairs, and engineering
- Plan, develop, and implement biotech products with customers, ensuring they meet user needs
- Manage the entire product lifecycle from concept to commercial launch
- Conduct market research, gather users feedback, and analyze the competitive landscape
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver products on time and within budget
- Communicate product updates, plans, and progress clearly to internal and external stakeholders
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related technical field
Experience
- Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in product management or consulting
Skills
- Passion for science and creating and launching new products in market
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle, user experience, and market analysis
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and project management skills
- Outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills
- Capable of collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders
