Role Overview
We are looking for a seasoned
Product Manager
in
Dubai, UAE
to lead our
Digital Wallet & Banking portfolio
.
This role requires end-to-end ownership of wallet, payments, and banking integrations, with a strong focus on scalability, compliance, and customer experience.
You will work at the intersection of
business, technology, and regulatory frameworks
, driving product strategy and execution across high-impact payment solutions.
Product Ownership & Strategy
- Own the
- end-to-end lifecycle
- of Wallet & Banking products
- Define and execute product roadmap aligned with business goals
- Drive features across
Product Definition & Execution
- Create detailed
- BRDs, PRDs, and user stories
- Define business logic for
- transactions, fee structures, limits, and workflows
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery
Vendor & Partner Management
- Manage integrations with
- banks, card processors, and payment partners
- Drive vendor discussions, SLAs, and commercial alignment
Compliance & Regulatory
- Ensure adherence to
UAE regulations (CBUAE, WPS, AML, KYC)
- Collaborate with compliance teams to embed regulatory requirements into product design
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with
- engineering, design, compliance, and business teams
- Support development of seamless
- mobile and web user experiences
Scope of Ownership (Core Modules)
- You will own the product lifecycle across the following modules:
- **Wallet Core:**
- Balance management, ledger (available vs blocked), top-ups (card/bank), withdrawals
- **Card Issuing:**
- End-to-end management of virtual & physical cards (debit/prepaid), processor integration, card controls, and scheme settlement
- **Merchant Settlement & Reconciliation:**
- Settlement cycles (T+N), net vs gross settlements, commission structures, and reconciliation across systems
- **Open Banking:**
- APIs for TPP integrations (PISP/AISP) aligned with Open Finance standards
- **Domestic Payment Rails:**
- Integration with UAE systems such as Aani, Jaywan, and UAEPASS
- **Compliance & Risk:**
- WPS, KYC/KYB workflows, AML screening, and risk frameworks
- **Cross-Border Payments:**
- Remittance flows, FX integration, and partner ecosystem management
Key Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Product Management
- 5+ years in
- fintech, payments, or digital wallets
- Proven experience in:
- Wallet systems and ledger management
- Card issuing / payment processing
- Settlement and reconciliation systems
- Strong understanding of:
- APIs, integrations, and microservices architecture
- UAE regulatory landscape (CBUAE, WPS, AML/KYC)
- Experience working with
- banks, processors, or fintech partners
- Strong documentation skills (BRDs, PRDs)
Preferred Skills
- Experience in
Open Banking / Instant Payments
- Exposure to
- remittance and cross-border payments
- Familiarity with tools like
