Role overview

Product and platform responsibilities

• Drive platform activation and ongoing usage; own onboarding, verification, account management, payments, settlements, money movement, reporting, and servicing journeys.
• Define corporate payroll workflows for file upload, maker-checker approvals, funding, payment tracking, errors, and rejections.
• Own the payroll lifecycle from validation and funding through disbursement, cut-offs, failed or returned payments, reprocessing, and reporting.
• Scope and deliver compliance-first MVPs; create API-first requirements and work with Engineering on delivery.
• Translate regulatory and risk requirements into product logic and operational processes; design reconciliation and downstream workflows with Finance and Operations.
• Support client discovery, solutioning, demonstrations, and onboarding with Business Development.
• Co-own partner and vendor execution with Supply Chain; work with exchange houses and corporate partners on WPS and Non-WPS integrations and rollouts.

Experience and qualifications

• 6–8 years of product management experience in fintech, PSP, or B2B technology solutions.
• Hands-on experience in or close to a fast-moving startup or scale-up; track record delivering regulated or enterprise-grade B2B products end to end.
• Strong API fluency and ability to define or review sequence diagrams; demonstrated success in B2B adoption, automation, or platform growth.
• Strong stakeholder management across Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Compliance.
• Familiarity with payment processing, payroll, onboarding, billing, or KYB/KYC systems.
• Strong understanding of WPS systems, transaction settlement, and compliance workflows, including differences between WPS and Non-WPS payroll.
• Experience with payroll, salary disbursement, or bulk payment products and integrations with banks, exchange houses, or payment networks.

People, risk, and governance

• Create commercialization toolkits and product materials, train client-facing teams and operations staff, and communicate priorities and acceptance criteria to Product Development.
• Champion agile methodology and human-centered design across the organization.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable regulatory frameworks and UAE payroll requirements; advise sales and operations teams on regulatory, reputational, and ethical matters.
• Identify, escalate, mitigate, and resolve risk and compliance matters; adhere to policies, controls, risk tolerance, and governance requirements.
• Own product risks and governance across markets, renew Product Program Guidelines and Country Addendums, and define pricing guidelines and processes.
• Uphold ethical conduct and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, guidelines, and organizational codes of conduct.
