Responsibilities
- Shape requirements with the Product Owner and refine complex regulatory needs into clear specifications before coding.
- Communicate when technical, operational, or design challenges are not sufficiently defined to build.
- Own product-area delivery from data model through API and front end to production release; prioritize a credible path to customer value.
- Use Claude in pair programming, make architectural decisions, and help scale the AI-native delivery pipeline.
- Review AI-generated code for hallucinations, edge cases, security risks, and incorrect assumptions.
- Make pragmatic product and UX decisions and own the quality, security, performance, testing, observability, and maintainability of shipped software.
- Use tests, logging, metrics, and monitoring to detect and diagnose production issues.
- Track user metrics, real usage data, and customer feedback.
Role Expectations
- Refine regulatory-domain needs into buildable specifications in partnership with a Product Owner.
- Take end-to-end engineering accountability from data model through API and front end to production.
- Make technical and architectural decisions and critically review AI-generated code.
- Own software quality, security, performance, testing, observability, and maintainability in an ISO 27001-aligned environment.
- Use automated tests, logging, metrics, and monitoring to identify and diagnose production issues.
