About This Role
Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Product Editor to create, edit, and optimize product content across digital platforms. This role ensures that product listings are accurate, engaging, and aligned with brand and SEO guidelines to drive conversions and enhance the customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, edit, and proofread product descriptions, titles, and specifications
- Ensure all product content is accurate, consistent, and up to date
- Optimize product listings using SEO best practices (keywords, metadata, etc.)
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and design teams to maintain brand voice
- Upload and manage product content in CMS or e-commerce platforms
- Review images, videos, and other media for quality and relevance
- Maintain content guidelines and editorial standards
- Conduct competitor and market research to improve product content
- Monitor product performance and suggest improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field
- 1–2 years of experience in content editing, e-commerce, or product content
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Familiarity with SEO principles and keyword optimization
- Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WordPress)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Preferred Skills
- Experience in e-commerce or retail industry
- Basic understanding of HTML
- Knowledge of analytics tools (Google Analytics, Search Console)
- Familiarity with product information management (PIM) systems
