Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop automotive products from concept through to market release
- Create detailed 3D models and technical drawings using SolidWorks
- Support prototyping, testing and product validation activities
- Conduct engineering analysis and design reviews
- Perform FEA simulations to evaluate product performance
- Ensure designs meet compliance and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Maintain engineering documentation and technical reports
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across product development processes

Qualifications
- Degree qualifications in Mechanical, Automotive or Design Engineering
- Minimum 3 years' experience in product development or design engineering
- Strong SolidWorks experience
- Experience developing and validating engineered products
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Strong attention to detail and project management skills
- Automotive aftermarket experience
- Knowledge of ADR and vehicle compliance requirements
- FEA experience
- AIAG quality framework experience
- 3D scanning or 3D printing exposure
- Engineers Australia or SAE membership
- Experience working across the full product development lifecycle
