Product Development and Design Expert

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new textile products and collections in line with market trends and customer demands.
• Create and modify product designs, patterns, color combinations, and fabric specifications.
• Conduct research on materials, fabrics, and industry trends to identify new opportunities.
• Collaborate with production, quality control, and procurement teams to ensure product feasibility and timely delivery.
• Prepare technical specifications, samples, and prototypes for new products.
• Monitor product performance and recommend improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.
• Coordinate with clients and sales teams to understand requirements and provide customized solutions.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and manufacturing processes.
• Maintain records of product development activities and design documentation.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and innovation within the factory.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Textile Engineering, Fashion Design, Product Development, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in textile product development and design.
• Strong knowledge of fabrics, yarns, dyeing, printing, and garment manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD, or similar tools.
• Excellent creativity, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• GCC experience is preferred.
