Product Designer

About the role

Responsibilities

• Develop product concepts, 3D models, assemblies, and 2D drawings.
• Design products considering functionality, cost, quality, and manufacturability.
• Work on prototyping, testing, and design iterations.
• Apply DFM/DFA principles and support material selection.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and vendors.
• Resolve design and manufacturing issues.
• Maintain BOMs, drawings, and design documentation.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in product or mechanical design.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA, NX, or similar CAD tools.
• Good knowledge of GD&T, tolerances, fits, and engineering drawings.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes such as CNC, sheet metal, injection molding, fabrication, or 3D printing.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred experience

• Experience in robotics, automation, machinery, or electromechanical products is preferred.
• Experience taking products from concept through prototype to production is preferred.
• Exposure to FEA/simulation and vendor coordination is preferred.

Pay and benefits

• Pay is ₹20,000–40,000 per month.
• Benefits include health insurance and Provident Fund.
