Internship overview
Papyri is seeking a Product / Industrial Design Intern for a three-month internship and training opportunity.
The position is described as remote or Dubai-based.
The internship is unpaid and offers hands-on involvement with real products, materials, collections, and launches.
What you will work on
- Develop product, furniture, and object concepts, from initial sketches through design development.
- Create moodboards, conduct design research, and produce 3D models and visualisations.
- Prepare technical and production drawings, dimensions, details, and material specifications.
- Develop prototypes, make design revisions, and take ideas from concept through final production details.
Candidate profile
- Background in Industrial Design, Product Design, Furniture Design, or a related field.
- Strong technical drawing skills and a good understanding of construction, dimensions, and fabrication.
- Experience with Rhino, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar software.
- Adobe Creative Suite skills; strong visual and conceptual thinking.
- Curiosity about materials, furniture, objects, and sustainable design.
