Product Builder, Sales
Role Overview
We’re building AI products that help sales teams understand customers, build relationships and grow revenue. You’ll help define and build agents and workflows that carry out meaningful parts of the sales process.
Working closely with Product, Engineering and sales leadership, you’ll turn firsthand knowledge of selling into products that help teams work more effectively across the sales cycle. As the product proves itself internally, the opportunity is to bring these capabilities to other companies’ sales teams.
What you’ll do
Identify where AI can most improve how sellers work and how customers experience the sales process.
Build agents and workflows for account research, prospecting, qualification, meeting preparation, follow-up, deal management and account growth.
Define and prototype autonomous AI sellers that can manage parts of the sales cycle or run it end to end, proactively move opportunities forward and bring in human partners when needed.
Partner with Engineering and Design to ship products to OpenAI’s sales teams, learn from live customer interactions and improve quickly.
Measure success through revenue impact, customer experience, seller effectiveness, higher win rates and less manual work.
Turn successful workflows into a repeatable product that works across sales teams and customer segments, with the potential to serve other companies.
What you’ll bring
Firsthand sales experience and a clear understanding of how sellers build relationships, understand customer needs and win business.
Experience building and experimenting with AI tools to improve how work gets done.
Strong product judgment, curiosity about users and the ability to turn a messy workflow into a concrete product.
The ability to work closely with technical teams, learn quickly and take ownership from problem definition through adoption.
