- Build deep command of PIMCO's investment process, portfolio positioning, and market outlook — enough to become the most credible advocate in the room for the strategies you cover
- Represent the investment team internally: be a highly valued resource for Account Managers and Client Management on your assigned strategies, while building exposure across PIMCO's full platform
- Own, alongside Portfolio Management and Marketing, a consistent suite of product and client-service materials, and actively seek out feedback to ensure ongoing quality and relevance
- Develop a strong understanding of business, stakeholder and client needs and articulate business value and product intent to internal leadership.
- Track the competition and bring a point of view to how we grow the platform
- Apply and help develop AI-powered tools to improve the productivity and quality of recurring workflows
- Construct attribution, performance, and risk reporting that shows how portfolios are positioned, and why they performed the way they did
- Write market updates, portfolio commentary, and portfolio construction materials that clearly communicate PIMCO's investment views
- Partner on RFPs and DDQs, drafting and reviewing content that represents our strategies accurately

- Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Intellectual curiosity, high energy, and a self-starter mindset
- Ability to work effectively and professionally with all levels of personnel both internally and externally; strong team player
- Enthusiasm for the financial markets, investing, and macroeconomics
- Interest in pursuing the CFA designation (or active status in the program) a plus
