Procurement Specialist
We are looking for a qualified and detail-oriented
Procurement Specialist
to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing purchasing activities, coordinating with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services, and supporting cost-effective procurement practices in line with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day procurement activities in accordance with company policies and approval procedures.
- Source, evaluate, and communicate with suppliers to obtain competitive quotations and suitable purchasing terms.
- Prepare purchase orders and follow up on approvals, deliveries, and required documentation.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and service conditions with suppliers.
- Coordinate with internal departments to understand purchasing needs and ensure timely fulfillment.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, quotations, and related reports.
- Monitor supplier performance and support the development of long-term vendor relationships.
- Coordinate with Finance regarding invoices, payments, and supporting documents.
- Support cost-saving initiatives and ensure compliance with procurement standards and internal controls.
Requirements
- **Saudi nationality is required.**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
- Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or a similar role is preferred.
- Good knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and quotation comparison.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and follow-up skills.
- Good analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- Ability to work effectively with different departments and manage multiple requests.
- Good command of English.
