Key responsibilities and deliverables
- Execute procurement strategies and sourcing activities.
- Select suppliers, negotiate contracts, and coordinate procurement.
- Manage supplier delivery, quality, and performance.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, contracts, and regulatory requirements.
- Improve procurement efficiency, supplier responsiveness, and cost management.
- Maintain accurate procurement reports and supplier performance tracking.
- Build strong supplier and cross-functional stakeholder relationships.
Education and experience
- Solid working knowledge of procurement and supply chain practices.
- A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Typically requires 2–4 years of procurement, sourcing, or supply chain experience.
- Works under general supervision and may mentor junior staff.
Technical and behavioral competencies
- Competencies include procurement strategy execution, supplier selection, contract negotiation, RFQ/RFP management, and sourcing processes.
- Supplier relationship and performance management, procurement compliance, cost analysis, and operational support are required areas of capability.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and procurement systems, communication, cross-functional collaboration, and process improvement are listed.
